Laminate flooring comes in mainly plank form or tiled forms. It is a lot harder than real wood with a MDF backing. It comes as a 2 & 3 strip style or single plank.
Most laminates use a click system so you can always take it up if you need to quickly, this can be done at least 3 times. Laminate flooring can be laid on most reasonable flat floors with a decent underlay and moisture barrier.
It can also be laid when underfloor heating is present. Most laminate flooring comes pre-finished, so there is no need for special treatments, just a light mop over with a laminate cleaner.
Laminate flooring can be used in most domestic locations, but is also being used in a lot of Commercial locations, such as restaurants, bars, hotels, receptions, schools and universities. A good laminate floor is hard to tell apart from real wood with the different ranges available such as 'V' Groove long and wide planks.
Together with the natural and glossy tile effect, it has the ability to match most interiors in a lot of weathered look laminates it has nail holes, woodworm effect and even natural cracks.
